My name is Cameron Allan, and I’m a professional photographer.
But really, you already knew that, it’s why you’re here! So here’s the story.
I’ve been shooting events since I was 17, when I was asked by some people at school to photograph gap year fundraisers, and band gigs. I even managed to photograph Lunch with an Old Bag (an event far too prestigious for a 17 year old!) for the Princess Trust, somehow blagging the afternoon off school to head over. That was my first real taste of corporate event photography, I was shaking like a leaf the whole time, but it gave me a thrill that I still get every time I shoot an event.
After school I gained my BA(Hons) in Photography and Film at Edinburgh Napier, and continued shooting events and a multitude of other things throughout my studies. I’ve been lucky enough to count companies like Barnardos, Hibernian FC, MAN Truck & Bus, Queen Margaret University and many more among my clients. I’ve shot in locations as varied as Old Trafford to the shores of Loch Lomond. All this is to say that I’m sure that no matter the scale or location of your event, I have the kit, the confidence, and the capability to handle it.
I am also fully PVG checked, insured, and am currently using lateral flow covid tests twice weekly.
